CHICAGO, IL:

Krakus is proud to support Polish heritage in schools around Chicagoland.

We’ve partnered with the Council of Polish Educators to bring special KIDS DAY events to various Polish schools. The day includes a free lunch, a gift and theatrical presentation of King Krakow and the Wawal Dragon, a historic Polish fable performed by the Little Stars Theatre Group.

Specially commissioned for the program by Krakus, the play is a modern-day interpretation of an old-world legend, designed to teach history through humor and song.

Students from accredited Polish schools will also have the opportunity to participate in an art/essay contest. Krakus will award over $10,000 in prizes and grant money to the winners and their schools. The winners will be announced at the Annual Pulaski Day event in March; and again at the Annual Polish Constitution Day Festival in May.

Krakus – the true imported Polish ham – is proud to sponsor these events. We are committed to supporting Polish heritage and Polish schools in the Chicagoland area.
